By checking "I agree" or otherwise using SlanderScan (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"), our Disclaimer, and our Privacy Policy. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and RHR Services LLC, doing business as SlanderScan ("RHR Services LLC," "Company," "we," or "us").
The Service is owned and operated by RHR Services LLC, which provides the Service under the brand name "SlanderScan." References to "SlanderScan" refer to the brand; references to the "Company," "we," or "us" refer to RHR Services LLC as the legal entity.
You must be 18+ and able to form contracts.
You retain ownership of photos/data you submit but grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use it solely to provide and improve the Service, including secure sharing with vetted third parties for search purposes.
We may refuse service, suspend access, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason or no reason, including suspected violations of these Terms, unlawful conduct, risk of harm to others, or actions that we believe could expose the Company or third parties to liability or harm. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (including, without limitation, Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Arbitration, and Governing Law) will survive.
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and store data. By using the Service you consent to those practices.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) USD 100 or (b) the fees you paid to the Company in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RHR Services LLC, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any losses, liabilities, damages, claims, demands, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas under the AAA Consumer Rules. No class actions.You and the Company waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class or representative action.
Texas law governs these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
